Yeah. This is exactly what happened to me, and I didn't plan it. I never sat down and decided "Pinterest for small creators" was my thing. I just kept answering the same one question for people and the shape showed up on its own. Funny seeing it laid out as a method when I backed into it by accident.
Omg your situation is such a perfect example. Too often, in a similar scenario, someone would try to sell "make $10k/mo with pinterest" because they have pinterest skills, even though they don't have THAT skill. I've seen that stuff happen so so so often. And then they struggle because the internal battle eats at them. And the thing is, most don't want to do it, they just don't think there's any other way. "I have to sell the dream outcome though!"
I love your positioning around this. You have over a decade of experience, but that's what you're offering, not some get rich quick scheme. It's going to make it so much easier for you to show up the way you want! Great stuff 💪

Haha for sure. I mean, I'm sure there are some people doing great on there. But helping others replicate it as a side gig is probably extremely difficult.
This is how I started thinking about positioning myself. I look at things I've already done and take it from there
Yeah I think one of the big unlocks is how much more confidence it gives you.
It’s like, even if you’re a pretty good copywriter, it’d be hard to confidently try to own the copywriting space.
But if you create a couple of welcome emails for clients that get good conversions, you can confidently speak about being the welcome email guy.
Sure, other people talk about it, but no one goes super deep on it because they have so much more they want to be known for.
Which makes room for someone who wants to really own it.
And the thing is, there are tons of people who would love to have a welcome email that actually sells.

Yeah, I certainly haven't cracked the $10 a month as a side gig yet. I'm not moving into that beach house in Bali anytime soon.
